As New Royal Albert VAL D'OR 5 Cup TEAPOT

This is a large Royal Albert Val D'or 5 Cup teapot. This teapot has a CLASSIC look with ribbed detail and a gold trimmed footed base. This large teapot has a beautiful Montrose shape and has gold trim on the handle, the spout, the footed base, and the top rim.

The teapot is 6 1/2 inch (16.5cm) in diameter not including the spout or handle and 7 1/2 inches (19cm) high to the top of the lid. 

The teapot appears as new and seldom used, if at all.  All the gold is completely intact and the the finish is glossy.  This teapot was purchased new in the 1970s. 

The is pattern was introduced by Royal Albert in 1960 and is now discontinued.  Val D'or is one of the most favourite Royal Albert patterns.    The pattern carries the name of a beautiful Val d'Or Valley near Montreal, Canada. 

The teapot is in excellent condition. All gold is intact.  No wear, no chips, no cracks, no scratches, no repairs.
